"Carbide" Willson Fertilizer Plant ruins-Gatineau Park
These are the ruins of an experimental fertilizer plant from the mid-1800s, built near Meech Lake, in what is now Gatineau Park, Quebec.
Little Meech Lake - taken on a beautiful early fall day, just as the fall leaf colours are near their peak.
Fertilizer Plant ruins - the large black hole is the the water inlet for the turbine that provided the power for the plant.
